Lost LA

Much of L.A.'s past is lost to history – but we can rediscover it in the region's archives. Lost LA, a co-production of KCETLink and the USC Libraries, in collaboration with L.A. as Subject, brings Southern California history to life by marrying archival materials with innovative forms of documentary storytelling. This original public television series is an outgrowth of a partnership forged in 2011 among KCET, the USC Libraries, and L.A. as Subject in 2011.

Season One premiered on Jan. 27, 2016, and featured three episodes:

Season Two is currently in development. Complementing the video series are original articles – illustrated with the items from L.A. as Subject member collections –  at kcet.org/lostla.
