Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, Museum Archives

The Museum Archives documents the history of the Los Angeles County Museum from its founding in 1910 to the present. The collection includes photographs, departmental papers, research papers, ephemera, publication, architectural plans, newspaper clippings and original artwork.

The Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage

The Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage was opened in 2001 and is named after its lead donors, Ruth and Charles Gilb. The Museum is maintained and operated by the City of Arcadia and houses artifacts and artwork representative of local Arcadia history and culture. The Motorsports Education Foundation a non-profit society

A digitized, JPEG, DOC, PDF, MP3 collection of photo albums, oral history tapes and text from the personal albums and interviews of engine builders and auto-racing notables active in the Los Angeles Basin 1880s-1984. Family immigration from England, France, Germany and Canada is noted along with some 'old-country' testimony. The file is approx. 20GB in size. Papers posted on academia.edu

Topanga Historical Society

The Topanga Historical Society (THS) was organized in 1974 by a group of dedicated community leaders who recognized the urgent need to collect and preserve records of Topanga’s unique history and to make them available to future generations. The Society maintains an Archive Center and presents quarterly local history programs.
