The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California manages a library and archival repository documenting the activities of the organization and resources of interest to the greater history of the Los Angeles region. 

The Mojave Desert Archives preserves the history of transcontinental travel to the Los Angeles region through the Mojave Desert of eastern California. Route 66, National Old Trails Road, the Mojave Wagon Road, the Santa Fe Railway (now BNSF), Union Pacific Railroad, and Interstate highways were and are major transit routes through the desert terminating in the Los Angeles basin.

The Baseball Reliquary maintains a large collection of artifacts, artworks, photographs, and documents related to baseball history in Southern California and the United States.

The collection consists of records and artifacts pertaining to the history of The Jonathan Club, a social club founded in Los Angeles in 1896 and currently serving 4,000 members.
