GAMOLA (Garifuna Museum of Los Angeles)

Gordon Skene Sound Collection

A substantial percentage of my Sound Archive deals with Los Angeles, going back to the 1930s, via many of the radio stations which broadcast in the Los Angeles area. The collection houses some 150,000 original tape reels of broadcasts and over 30,000 radio transcriptions going back to 1935.
