Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Special Collection and Archives collections include photographs, documents, and architectural drawings related to Los Angeles and other surrounding cities.             

Examples: William F. Cody Papers (mid-20th century architectural projects in Los Angeles and SoCal, office was in Santa Monica for a time, USC student work); Julia Morgan Papers (architectural projects in Los Angeles and SoCal, circa 1910s-1930s); Arthur G. Barton Papers (Glendale-based landscape architect with projects throughout the Southland, circa 1920s-1960s. Used native plants - Theodore Payne rep); Gaydon Moore Collection (well described photographs of residential Los Angeles, circa 1910s).
