Personal and Family Archiving by Gerard Collins

This video gives an overview of planning a small archiving project and looks at what goes into conducting an inventory; appraising and selecting material; arranging collections; and how to best store things once they've been organized. It also touches on the pros and cons of digital media and what to think about before jumping into a digitization project.

Introduction to Digitizing Scrapbooks by Crystal Johnson

This video provides an introductory overview to digitizing scrapbooks using digital photography. Topics covered include: equipment selection and set up, digitization workflow, quality control, and common challenges. 

Collection Surveys: A Brief Overview by Azatuhi Babayan

Get to know your collections and learn how you can use surveys to better prepare for archival processing, digitization, exhibit preparation, securing funding, and more. This video provides an introductory overview of collection surveys, their purpose, and some methods for getting started.
