CONNECTING COMMUNITIES WITH THE PAST

The Compton 125 Historical Society and the Gerth Archives and Special Collections Department of California State University, Dominguez Hills invite ALL interested in South Bay History or connected with local Historical Societies throughout the South Bay.

Topics include Mexican American baseball in South Bay; Free speech & labor rights in Los Angeles Harbor, 1913-2013; Black and Filipino Neighborhoods in Compton and South Bay Pioneer Women.

Authors/Speakers include Richard Santillan, James Preston Allen, Donna J. Nicol, Robert Lee Johnson & Jim Osborne.
