The collection at the museum is an assortment of items from the 1800's through the 1900's. The Los Angeles Unified School District’s (LAUSD) Art & Artifact Collection/Archive and Museum has amassed objects since the opening of the first district school in 1855. Artifacts and artworks are located at both schools and administrative sites.
